The Spanish Unlimited review was originally published in Dulaboo.com. I used to write for the said website before my contract expired. Republishing here for archiving purposes. Edited to suit Yoast’s requirements.
Even those who have a semblance of idea on how Spanish is spoken still look for Spanish lessons available online. Why? Because sometimes, the gut feel in terms of reading statements in Spanish can go wrong.
I took a screenshot of this test I tried to answer before writing this article.
I got a grade of 2 out of 10. So it turns out that even if I can read and comprehend some words in this page, it’s not a guarantee of proficiency on my end. It must have been the pronouns that got me in trouble.
Spanish Unlimited offers Spanish language lessons in association with the Don Quixote Spanish Learning system.
And just like most Spanish tutorial systems I have reviewed here at DuLaBoo, Spanish Unlimited uses the Spanish culture too as template in teaching the language.
Of course, the games that help you in motivating you to learn more are included too. All work and no play simply makes you dull all day.
Being dull should be the least of your concerns especially when you have a language requirement to fulfill at work or a Spanish subject in college that you need to pass.
Now, I like it whenever I see some videos on a Spanish language learning website. Spanish Unlimited provided helpful video clips too. Also assembled with the help of Don Quixote program, teasers and instructor-assisted videos are easily-accessible at hand for your convenience.
Major advantage that they have compared to other Spanish language tutorial services is that the videos are in-house, not outsourced to YouTube or Vimeo. It adds an element of exclusivity to the Spanish lessons that they offer.
No other third-party video provider hosts their videos, just SpanishUnlimited.com in consolidation with Don Quixote.
They remind their students through this exclusivity that they have one of the best Spanish learning systems ever online. You would not find that level or learning just anywhere else.
Exposure! Exposure! Exposure! From the whiteboard to the blackboard and back! You are constantly exposed into the language. This exposure instills comprehension. And the website encourages you to talk in Spanish the soonest possible time.
By this time it would be easy to assume that learners with proficiency levels between intermediate and advanced have a good advantage. Spanish Unlimited inadvertently challenges beginners to catch up.
Now, Spanish language learning coupled with travel packages is also one offered by CactusLanguage.com. Except that the latter is not exclusive to Spanish trips. Spanish Unlimited got Spain covered with some cities having satellite offices of Don Quixote in them.
There are some areas where Spanish Unlimited offers Spanish tutorial-related trips too. But they only offer said trips as partners like their partners in Malaga. (I put Malaga in my bucket list of trips alongside Valencia.)
They have partners in Malaga teaching conservative, old school Spanish. This version of Spanish lessons is similar to the almost Victorian-era grammar that Don Quixote is known for.
Spanish Unlimited’s website lives! No social media accounts to follow though. I can still recommend them for learning Spanish. If your goal is passing the DELE (a.k.a. Spanish as a Foreign Language diploma), click here to see how they can help you.
